CondeNet’s 5 video properties needed a Web 2.0 style rebirth to maintain their competitive edge in an ever increasingly interactive market, especially related to video.
After thorough technical, business and usability analysis CondeNet decided to shift their established video infrastructure (both cms and player layer) from the Feedroom to Brightcove.
Solution✓ Evaluated vendor's technology against client needs and decided it was a good fit
✓ Planned migration of players and supporting content from Feedroom to Brightcove
✓ Lead technical efforts in setting up and customizing Brightcove video players
✓ Automated file transfer of hundreds of videos and supporting meta data
✓ Created and managed QA processes for the presentation layer and the admin layer
✓ Planned and documented production work flow
✓ Supported lead developers at each of 5 sites in integrating the Brightcove code base
